Hyatt Place Butwal, the third Hyatt-branded hotel in Nepal, officially opened its doors today, marking a significant expansion of the Hyatt Place brand in key markets for global travelers and World of Hyatt members. The new property is designed to cater to both business and leisure guests, offering 109 spacious rooms including King, Twin, Forest View, Hill View, and suites, along with the expansive 1,560-square-foot Presidential Suite.
The hotel features modern amenities such as free Wi-Fi, 24-hour dining options, a Market for day-and-night meals, Zing Bar for specialty coffees and cocktails, a scenic outdoor pool, spa, fitness center, and a kids’ play area. A grand ballroom accommodating up to 150 guests also makes it a prime venue for conferences and events. General Manager Tushar Nagar highlighted Hyatt Place Butwal’s commitment to exceptional hospitality, stating that the hotel aims to provide a seamless balance of work and relaxation for every guest. Director of Sales Partha Banerjee will oversee sales services for both travelers and event planners in the region.
Hospitality analysts note that the launch of Hyatt Place Butwal is expected to positively impact the hospitality circuit for travelers from eastern India, particularly Kolkata. The proximity and growing business links between Kolkata and Butwal make the new hotel an attractive choice for corporate visitors, leisure tourists, and event organizers seeking modern, full-service accommodations just across the border. Hyatt Place Butwal aims to set a benchmark for comfort, convenience, and personalized service in the region.
