Hulladek Recycling Pvt Ltd, in collaboration with the State Pollution Control Board, Sikkim, has introduced comprehensive e-waste management services in Gangtok. The initiative, marked by a high-profile summit at the Forest Secretariat, brought together key stakeholders to strategize sustainable waste disposal solutions.
The event featured a Capacity Building Programme for e-waste producers, recyclers, and bulk consumers, in association with Godrej. Eminent dignitaries, including Dr. Pradeep Kumar, IFS, Secretary-cum-PCCF, Forest & Environment Department, Government of Sikkim, and Shri. Nandan Mall, Chairman & MD, Hulladek Recycling, emphasized the urgent need for effective e-waste disposal mechanisms. Shri N. W. Tamang, Member Secretary, State Pollution Control Board, stated, “This collaboration is a vital step towards sustainable waste management in Gangtok.” ShriNandan Mall added, “Our goal is to be the go-to e-waste solution provider while expanding into new waste categories.”
In Gangtok, this initiative is expected to streamline e-waste disposal for businesses, educational institutions, and households, enhancing sustainability practices across sectors.
