HP today announced the launch of its most affordable next-generation AI PCs in India, unveiling the HP OmniBook 5 and OmniBook 3 series. Aimed at students, professionals, and everyday users, the new laptops are packed with cutting-edge AI capabilities including a dedicated NPU capable of 45–50 trillion operations per second (TOPS), promising seamless responsiveness and efficiency.
The HP OmniBook 5, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus processors, boasts the world’s longest battery life in an ultra-slim design — up to 34 hours. Meanwhile, the OmniBook 3 series is equipped with AMD Ryzen AI 300 processors and offers robust AI-powered collaboration tools such as Windows Studio Effects and HP AI Companion for enhanced performance and video calling.
Assam’s Guwahati welcomed the launch, noting rising demand for AI-enabled yet cost-effective laptops in educational hubs and startup ecosystems. Retailers anticipate strong interest from university students and tech-savvy professionals, especially due to flexible financing options like 8-month no-cost EMI and competitive pricing starting at ₹69,999. Built using recycled and ocean-bound materials, the new OmniBooks also support HP’s sustainability goals. The models are now available in Glacier Silver across online and offline HP stores nationwide.
