The HortiConnect India Expo 2026 will be held from October 1 to 3 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre, marking a significant expansion as the platform begins engaging more directly with India’s wider agriculture sector. The trade fair will be co-hosted by Messe Muenchen India in partnership with Bengaluru-based HortiConnect Global Pvt. Ltd., the organisers said.
Originally positioned as an international-standard exhibition focused on horticulture, the 2026 edition reflects growing convergence across crop segments. Technologies pioneered in horticulture—such as protected cultivation, precision irrigation, climate-resilient inputs and post-harvest infrastructure—are increasingly being adopted across field crops and mixed farming systems.
Horticulture will continue to anchor the exhibition, covering greenhouse technologies, seeds and planting material, irrigation solutions, bio-inputs and post-harvest management. The added agriculture lens is expected to attract participants offering solutions spanning multiple crop categories, particularly in water management, mechanisation for high-value crops and supply-chain integration. “This platform was created to respond to how the sector is evolving,” said S.K. Gutgutia of HortiConnect Global, noting that horticulture-led technologies are influencing broader agricultural practices. Bhupinder Singh of Messe Muenchen India said the partnership aligns global exhibition standards with South India’s strengths in floriculture, precision farming and export-oriented production. The expanded scope is relevant for the eastern region, including Kolkata, where demand is rising for smart irrigation, protected cultivation and post-harvest solutions to support peri-urban horticulture and agri-exports. Participation from eastern growers, agri-input firms and exporters is expected to strengthen B2B linkages and improve market access. The 2026 edition will also feature live technology zones, international brand participation and the co-location of the inaugural AgriCon India, aimed at bridging gaps between innovation, policy and on-ground adoption.
