Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has marked a significant entry into Meghalaya with the inauguration of its first Red Wing dealership, Shadap Honda, located at Madanrting, NH 6, Shillong. This milestone dealership, the 25th in the North-East and 174th in the East region, underscores Honda’s commitment to expanding its footprint in India’s vibrant two-wheeler market.
The dealership offers a comprehensive 4S experience – Sales, Service, Spare Parts, and Safety Riding Promotion, distinguishing itself with Honda’s emphasis on rider safety. Mr. Yogesh Mathur, Director of Sales and Marketing at HMSI, expressed his excitement about the new venture, stating, “We are thrilled to inaugurate our first Red Wing dealership in Meghalaya, enhancing accessibility to Honda’s high-quality products and services.”
Shadap Honda will feature Honda’s diverse lineup, including popular scooter models such as Activa and Dio in both 110cc and 125cc variants, alongside a range of motorcycles spanning segments from 100cc to 200cc. The dealership is equipped with specially imported advanced riding simulators from Japan, aimed at promoting safe riding practices among customers.
