Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) recently held a successful road safety awareness campaign in Tulungia, Assam, involving over 1200 school students and staff members. The campaign, which included interactive activities like slogan writing, poster-making contests, road safety quizzes, and article writing competitions, aimed to raise awareness about road safety among children and youth. HMSI believes that early awareness of road safety can contribute to a safer society.
Since its inception, HMSI has educated nearly 50,000 adults and children in the North-East region, focusing on responsible road usage and safe riding habits. HMSI is working towards achieving zero traffic collision fatalities involving Honda motorcycles and automobiles in India, in line with the government’s goal of reducing fatalities to half by 2030. By instilling a positive mindset towards road safety in children, HMSI aims to create a safety culture and empower future generations to become responsible and contribute to a safer society. HMSI aims to be a company that society wants to exist, focusing on road safety awareness across all segments.
