Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has strengthened its presence in the Northeast by inaugurating a new authorized main dealership, Jainco Honda, at MG Road, Jorhat, Assam. The outlet offers Honda’s 4S solutions — Sales, Service, Spare Parts, and Safety — under one roof, aiming to provide a complete two-wheeler experience.
The dealership will showcase HMSI’s full product portfolio, including four scooter models — Activa and Dio in the 110cc segment, and Activa 125 and Dio 125 in the 125cc segment — along with ten motorcycle models ranging from 100cc to 200cc, including Shine 100, Unicorn, and Hornet 2.0. A trained sales and service team will ensure top-notch customer service, while safety riding promotion initiatives, including Japanese-imported riding simulators, will encourage responsible riding.
The expansion reflects HMSI’s growing focus on Assam’s urban centers, where demand for fuel-efficient, reliable two-wheelers continues to rise. With Guwahati serving as a major commercial gateway for the Northeast, such dealership expansions are expected to boost competition and give customers more access to advanced mobility solutions. HMSI said the new Jorhat facility is strategically positioned to cater to the mobility needs of one of Assam’s key cultural and commercial hubs.
