Dispojekt Syringes by HMD comes as a befitting tribute to the perseverance and resilience of nurses on the World Nurse Day. Approximately 27 million men and women make up the global nursing and midwifery workforce. This accounts for nearly 50% of the global health workforce.

According to the WHO (World Health Organisation), over 16 billion injections are administered annually in transitional and developing countries the world over. A 2003 WHO report revealed that accidental NSIs caused 3 million new Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, and HIV cases in healthcare workers, despite appearing harmless.
