We became friends and shared our personal experiences but he never made me feel that I was alone, he got through it and he made sure I realised and believed that I would do the same.”
Mahima Chaudhry was one of the first actresses to support Hina Khan after she revealed her breast cancer diagnosis. Taking to Hina’s comments section in June, Mahima wrote, “Sending you all my love and strength, you are my braveheart, Hina. You are a warrior, and I know you will be fine! There are millions of people wishing you well, and I will be holding your hand during this time.”
Ever since Mahima Chaudhry’s battle with cancer, the actress has been advising her friends to get their breast cancer checked on time. “I want to say that if breast cancer is discovered in the early stages, it is completely curable and delaying the diagnosis will reduce the chances of survival further,” she told THE WEEK.
