On Sunday, a high-level Indian delegation paid a visit to Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe in the country and gave him an update on the status of priorities designated by both countries for bilateral cooperation in the vital energy sector.
The delegation, led by Petroleum and Natural Gas Ministry Secretary Pankaj Jain, met President Wickremesinghe, who shared his thoughts on speedy implementation of the effort, according to the Indian High Commission in the country.
It said that India will provide Sri Lanka with 500 indoor cooking devices powered by solar energy.
