Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest motorcycle manufacturer, has partnered with NWWA to support community development initiatives, promoting inclusive learning and education. As per an MoU signed between Hero MotoCorp and the NWWA, the Company will support CHETNA –an Early Intervention Center in Delhi that provides occupational therapy, speech therapy, play and counselling to children born with neuro-developmental disabilities.
The initiative, part of Hero Salutes Heroes of the Nation’s CSR platform, aims to support children’s learning needs, enabling them to progress through early developmental stages and improve their quality of life. CHETNA offers multi-modality interventions to minimize neuro-developmental disabilities in children under six years old, promoting their maximum potential and integration into mainstream education.
Speaking at the MoU-signing ceremony, Mrs. Kala Hari Kumar, President, NWWA, said, “It makes a huge difference not only in the lives of the children but their parents who will learn how to care for and support the needs of their children.” The Hero We Care CSR initiative partners with armed forces and paramilitary organizations like DIAV, CRPF, and BSF to provide mobility solutions, livelihood, and education in the field of mobility solutions, livelihood, and education.
