Preheat the oven to 180°C and coat a 9-inch pan with butter and flour. In a large mixing bowl, beat 4 egg yolks, honey(100g), vanilla, baking soda, and salt in a large mixing bowl with an electric mixer on medium speed until well combined. Add almond powder and beat on low. Then beat 4 egg whites in another bowl until foamy. Now fold egg whites into the nut mixture. Pour batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 20 minutes until golden brown and a skewer comes out clean. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove the side ring and cool completely. Transfer the cake to a serving platter and drizzle with honey and sprinkle with sliced almonds.
