Haier Appliances India on Wednesday launched its M3 Series washing machine, featuring a triple-drum design and AI-powered multi-wash technology, targeting consumers seeking premium laundry solutions. The product was unveiled at the company’s ‘Elevate with Haier’ launch event on October 14, 2026.
The 12kg-capacity machine, comprising two 1kg drums and one 10kg drum, enables three separate laundry loads to be washed simultaneously within a standard washing machine footprint. The company said the design supports specialised fabric care, including washing baby clothes, delicate garments and sportswear separately from everyday laundry.
The M3 Series incorporates AI Wash, Smart Dose detergent dispensing and AI Smart Control through a mobile application. Its Essence Wash feature completes a cycle in 39 minutes, while Quick Clean takes 46 minutes, compared with 89 minutes for a conventional cycle, according to the company. Three Direct Motion Motors and AI vibration control are designed to reduce noise and vibration.
Commenting on the launch, Haier Appliances India CEO NS Satish said the product strengthens the company’s premium appliance portfolio and reflects its focus on intelligent, personalised fabric care.
Priced at ₹1,30,000, the washing machine is available through retail outlets across India and Haier’s official online store. It comes with a four-year comprehensive warranty and a 12-year motor warranty.
In Kolkata, the launch adds to the premium home-appliance segment as manufacturers target urban households seeking time-saving and technology-led products. However, the ₹1.3 lakh price point may limit its initial appeal to higher-income consumers, making product demonstrations, financing options and after-sales service important factors in wider adoption.
