Guwahati’s water supply to be affected by robotic survey from March 2-5

Residents of Guwahati will face a temporary water supply disruption for four days, from March 2 to March 5, as the Guwahati Jal Board (GJB) undertakes a robotic survey of its pipeline network. The Guwahati Jal Board issued an official notice on Friday, alerting residents about the upcoming service suspension. The board has urged citizens to make necessary arrangements in advance to cope with the temporary inconvenience. According to officials, the robotic survey will allow for a comprehensive assessment of the pipeline network, identifying leakages, blockages, and potential structural weaknesses. Such inspections are crucial for ensuring the long-term efficiency and reliability of Guwahati’s water supply system.
