Guwahati to Host Three IPL 2026 Matches as Rajasthan Royals Begin Camp on March 17

Three matches of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 will be hosted in Guwahati, as announced by the Assam Cricket Association (ACA). The Rajasthan Royals will play their initial three home games at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium, starting with a match against the Chennai Super Kings on March 30. Following this, they will face the Mumbai Indians on April 7 and the Royal Challengers Bengaluru on April 10. The ACA expressed gratitude to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for the opportunity to host IPL matches. Meanwhile, the Rajasthan Royals are set to commence their pre-season training camp in Jaipur on March 17, where players will undergo training, fitness sessions, and net practice under the guidance of head coach Kumar Sangakkara, focusing on team cohesion, intensive training, and match strategies. Prior to this camp, several players participated in a training and fitness assessment at the High-Performance Centre in Nagpur, with Jadeja and Sam Curran expected to join the Jaipur camp.
