The Byatikram International Writers’ Meet 4.0, organised by Byatikram Group, concluded successfully in Guwahati after four days of vibrant literary exchange, cultural immersion, and global dialogue. Supported by NEDFi, IDFC, and Three Leaves, the event brought together an impressive constellation of writers, poets, and intellectuals from across the globe, making it one of the most culturally enriching literary gatherings in the region. This prestigious fourth edition welcomed distinguished international delegates from 10 countries, including Maria Mistrioti (Greece), Dr. Ali Al-Shalah (Iraq), Dr. Mark William MacLeod (Australia), Dr. Alice M. Sun-Cua (Philippines), Alex J. Cua (Philippines), Tran Huu Viet (Vietnam), Ahmed Zaabar (Tunisia/UK), Stefan Alexandru Băişanu (Romania), Professor Dr. Bordeianu Cătălin Ion (Romania), Pedro Enríquez (Spain), and Aminur Rahman (Bangladesh), along with renowned Indian writers Prof. (Dr.) Suman Gun, Ashok Chakraborty, and Bikash Sarkar, making the platform a vibrant tapestry of global literary brilliance Reflecting upon the success of the event, Dr. Saumen Bharatiya, Patron-in-Chief, Byatikram Group, stated, “The Byatikram International Writers’ Meet continues to illuminate the shared human experience through the powerful medium of literature. On 24th November 2025, the delegates were received at the airport and guided to the Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhupen Hazarika Memorial Site, where they offered a floral tribute to the legendary icon. This was followed by a comforting luncheon at Vaibhavam and the prestigious Globals Honors Night organized by Mirchi powered by Byatikram was held at Mayfair Spring Valley Resort, Sonapur, where the delegates were recognised for their exemplary contributions in their respective fields. The day concluded with a serene visit to Zubeen Kshetra, where they offered prayers to the revered legend. Aminur Rahman, while appreciating the remarkable execution of the event, expressed,
“Byatikram has once again proven how literature can build bridges of understanding and friendship across nations. The passion and efficiency of the team truly made this fourth edition a milestone. I feel proud to see Guwahati emerging as an international hub of creative and cultural collaboration.” On 25th November, the event commenced at the NEDFi Hall, Dispur, with an intellectually stimulating panel discussion followed by heartfelt poetry recitations by both Indian and international poets. The event was graced by Mr. M. Riaz Hamidullah, the High Commissioner of Bangladesh to India along with his better half Sazia Ahmed.
