Green solar energy plant installed in military station, Guwahati

Indian Army has planned to make Narengi Military Station a completely renewable-based military station in Guwahati, Assam.

According to the sources, the decision was taken due to rising heat temperature in the city, Guwahati, its main purpose is to mitigate climate change in the station.

For this initiative, the Indian army has installed a green solar energy plant with a capacity of 1 MW (Mega Watt) at the military station to benefit the troops of the Indian army.
