The India Food & Beverage Awards (IFBA) 2024, hosted by Godrej Vikhroli Cucina and the Food Bloggers Association of India (FBAI), honoured pioneers shaping India’s culinary landscape. Held at Seven Rivers, Taj Holiday Village, Goa, the event recognized achievements across 11 main categories and 33 sub-categories, celebrating excellence in the food and beverage industry.
Chef SanjyotKeer received the prestigious Outstanding Contribution to the Hospitality and Culinary Industry award, while Kalyan Karmakar was named the FBAI Star. Food reviewer PrithvishAshar earned the Insta Award for Top Review in Eatery, alongside 155 other winners representing diverse sectors like media, PR, hospitality, and education. In a unique showcase, Godrej Foods featured interactive installations, including the Godrej Jersey Yogurt Wall and Sweet Shack. The brand also unveiled STTEM 2.0: India’s Frozen Snacks Report, highlighting evolving snacking trends, led by Chief Communications Officer Sujit Patil and culinary icons.
In Guwahati, the IFBA inspires aspirations among the region’s burgeoning food community. With local culinary influencers gaining national attention, platforms like IFBA drive innovation and growth in markets such as Guwahati, reflecting India’s culinary diversity. Sujit Patil emphasized Godrej’s commitment to fostering culinary excellence: “Honouring these accomplishments drives our mission to connect cultures through food.” The event reinforced India’s position as a global culinary hub.
