Samsung, India’s largest electronics company, has achieved record pre-bookings for its Galaxy S24 series, making it the most successful S series ever, with over 250,000 customers ordering the smartphone since pre-bookings opened on January 18. For comparison, Samsung had secured 250,000 pre-bookings for its Galaxy S23 series over a three-week period in India.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra, S24+, and S24 smartphones are ‘Made in India’ and offer advanced communication features like Live Translate, Interpreter, Chat Assist, Note Assist, and Transcript Assist. The Samsung Keyboard’s AI can translate messages in 13 languages, including Hindi. Android Auto automatically summarizes incoming messages and suggests relevant replies in cars.
The Galaxy S24 is the first phone to introduce the intuitive Circle to Search feature with Google, allowing users to circle, highlight, scribble, or tap anything on the screen for high-quality search results. The series also includes seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates to extend the product lifecycle.
