On Wednesday Sensation prevailed in the area following the recovery of socket bombs from Sitalkuchi of Cooch Behar. Reportedly, the locals spotted the bombs on the banks of the River Khutamara at Purba Sitalkuchi village of Sitalkuchi block. After this the matter was promptly reported to the police.
Upon being alerted, the cops of Sitalkuchi police station actually arrived at the spot and recovered five socket bombs. At present, the police are engaged in further investigation. This is actually very sad incident as it has created panic among people. In fact it is good that people get alerted after seeing this incident and informed about it to the police. Police should take this incident very strictly and take proper action so that this type of incident does not happen in future. Today we need to live in a place which we find safe and free from any type of crime. In fact we should not tolerate any crime and make our society very safe.
