Today getting a Master degree from IIT essentially require GATE Score. But it became very difficult to get the desired score. For this reason, IIT Kanpur started four new Master degree for working profession. IIT Kanpur’s e-Master’s degree programmes are designed for working professionals seeking to stay current in today’s tech-driven world. The Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IIT-Kanpur), has launched four new online postgraduate courses: Business leadership in the digital age, artificial intelligence and machine learning, renewable energy and e-mobility, and climate finance and sustainability, for working professionals. Admission to these programmes will not require GATE scores. Interested candidates can apply at emasters.iitk.ac.in until September 24, 2023, and the classes will start in January 2024. Applications are also being accepted for new programmes in business analytics and data science, financial technology and management, business finance, financial analysis, public policy, next-generation wireless technologies, cyber security, and management, economics, and regulation of the power sector.
1)Climate finance and sustainability course
The course aims to give professionals the information and abilities they need to successfully negotiate the complex world of sustainable business and climate finance. The climate finance and sustainability course at IIT-Kanpur is designed to provide a thorough understanding of the critical connection between financial strategies and sustainable efforts. This is actually a new course which is really interesting to study.
2)Renewable energy and e-mobility
The course is designed to give participants an in-depth understanding of sustainable energy systems and electric mobility technologies. Participants will be taught the principles of renewable energy and their practice in real-world circumstances. Renewable energy and e-mobility programme aims to empower professionals with expertise in renewable energy. This is also very interesting course because here they will teach about renewable energy mainly and it will make you very professional in your work.
3)Artificial intelligence and machine learning
This course is basically for the candidate in Computer field and it can be very interesting for the candidate who like the subject. The use of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in practical applications will be taught to students through a variety of projects and case studies. This exercise will improve analytical and problem-solving abilities, preparing graduates to meet problems in the workplace. Under this course, students will acquire expertise in artificial intelligence and machine learning.
4)Business leadership in digital age
This course aims to equip prospective professionals with a thorough understanding of contemporary business dynamics. It attempts them the knowledge and abilities needed to successfully negotiate the intricacies of the corporate landscape. Today this type of course is very important and interesting as business is directly linked with technology. People should do this type of course as it will help them to improve greatly.
Eligibility for these courses:
- Bachelor’s degree (4 years programme) or a master’s degree in the relevant discipline with at least 55% marks or 5.5/10 CPI.
- Minimum of two years of work experience (You need not be currently employed to be eligible).
- Candidates with relevant experience will be preferred.
Finally, it can be said that this courses are mainly made for working profession. Although it does not need GATE Score but without work experience it can be difficult to get admission.
