Flipkart has announced that its flagship festive event, The Big Billion Days (TBBD) 2025, will be transformed into India’s fastest shopping festival with the launch of Flipkart Minutes, promising doorstep delivery within 10 minutes across 19 cities and 3,000 pin codes. The 12th edition of TBBD begins at midnight, bringing blockbuster deals on mobiles, electronics, groceries, beauty, personal care, fresh fruits, vegetables, and festive hampers.
Customers can expect lipsticks from Rs 49, up to 80% off on perfumes and deodorants, Rs 9 fruits and vegetables, and discounts up to 50% on gourmet essentials like olive oil, coffee, pulses, and millets. Smartphones including the iPhone 17 and Samsung Galaxy S24 series will also be available, with India’s first real-time hyperlocal smartphone exchange service.
In Guwahati, the adoption of Flipkart Minutes has been growing steadily, with customers welcoming the convenience of festive essentials, gourmet items, and even traditional sweets being delivered in just minutes. Traders in the city believe this quick commerce boost will reshape festive shopping trends in the Northeast, blending local flavours with national and global brand offers.
