Flipkart Minutes delivers fresh veggies at just Rs 9 with a nostalgic twist, eyes urban markets

Flipkart has launched a fresh new campaign for its hyperlocal service Flipkart Minutes, offering quality vegetables delivered to doorsteps in just minutes — and starting at only ₹9. Inspired by the iconic film 3 Idiots, the ad film revives household drama to highlight the rising cost of groceries and Flipkart’s promise of value, speed, and convenience.

Conceptualised by Leo Burnett, the film humorously portrays a family grappling with soaring vegetable prices until a Flipkart flyer brings hope — and ₹9 bhindi. As disbelief turns to joy, the family orders fresh produce through Flipkart Minutes and receives the delivery within minutes. The campaign emphasizes that customers no longer need to compromise on quality or budget.

Kabeer Biswas, VP of Flipkart Minutes, said, “We’re reimagining everyday convenience. Fresh vegetables at ₹9 delivered in minutes reflects our commitment to value, quality, and speed.” In Guwahati, the campaign has sparked notable interest among urban households, where rising grocery prices are a frequent concern. Retail analysts expect that Flipkart Minutes could reshape consumer behavior in Guwahati’s digital grocery market, where demand for quick, affordable deliveries is surging. The ad rolls out across TV and digital platforms in multiple languages from May 28.
