Flipkart kicks off Big Billion Days 2026 with nationwide festive operations

Flipkart has kicked off the 13th edition of The Big Billion Days (TBBD) 2026 at its Bengaluru campus, bringing together employees and senior leaders ahead of the country’s major festive shopping season.

Flipkart Group CEO Kalyan Krishnamurthy said more than 1.4 million sellers are preparing to reach millions of customers through the company’s supply chain network, with the festival expanding digital commerce opportunities for small businesses and consumers in smaller towns.

Senior executives including Ravi Iyer, Seema Nair, Sakait Chaudhary, Balaji Thiagarajan, Hemant Badri and Rajneesh Kumar attended the launch event. Actor Aneet Padda also joined the celebrations.

Hemant Badri, SVP and Head of Supply Chain, led the official flag-off of a convoy of FlipkartWishmasters, marking the beginning of the festive delivery operations.

Flipkart said thousands of frontline employees across fulfilment centres, sortation facilities and last-mile hubs are supporting TBBD operations. The company has introduced 24×7 medical support, rest areas, meals, transport and safety measures, besides wellness activities including yoga, meditation, Zumba and mandala drawing.

The 2026 edition will feature expanded seller participation, AI-powered shopping experiences and the company’s largest supply chain network to date, covering more than 8,200 fulfilment and delivery facilities through Ekart and Flipkart Minutes. Early Access begins October 8 for Plus, BLACK and Flipkart credit card members.
