Eurofragance launches Olivante®: A sustainable ingredient bringing opulence to fragrances

Eurofragance, the Spanish fragrance house, unveiled its latest proprietary perfumery ingredient, Olivante®, at Beautyworld Middle East in Dubai on October 27. Designed to deliver opulence in fine fragrances, personal care, and air care products, Olivante® is produced by upcycling discarded olive pulp through a 100% natural process, aligning with the company’s sustainability goals.

Targeting both Western and Middle Eastern fragrance consumers, Olivante® enhances compositions with phenolic and animalic notes reminiscent of castoreum, making it ideal for traditional Gulf mukhallat creations. Eurofragance perfumers have noted that it intensifies fruity, gourmand, and white floral notes without imparting an oily smell. “Olivante® is multi-faceted and resonates with consumers globally, bridging the olfactive preferences of the West and the Middle East,” said Belén Garcia, Master Perfumer at Eurofragance.

Mayur Kapse, General Manager India, highlighted its potential for the Indian market: “It works exceptionally with jasmine sambac and pink lotus, elevating traditional compositions with richer, more caring profiles.”

In Kolkata, fragrance and personal care brands in the city are expected to explore Olivante® in premium offerings. With rising consumer awareness of sustainable and natural ingredients, the ingredient’s eco-friendly profile is likely to appeal to high-end buyers and niche perfumery enthusiasts in West Bengal, where demand for luxury and artisanal fragrances has been steadily growing.

Olivante® represents a blend of Mediterranean heritage and modern sustainability, with Eurofragance positioning it as a versatile ingredient for global perfumery markets.
