Eicher pushes for modernization in the CV industry with future-ready Services and focus on Dealership Network

Eicher Trucks & Buses, a division of VE Commercial Vehicles, has made significant strides in the Indian truck industry by enhancing its service ecosystem and delivering high uptime for its customers. The company was the first CV manufacturer in India to recognize the importance of fleet uptime and promptly addressing customer needs. In 2020, Eicher established the Uptime Centre in Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh, connecting its entire range of BS-VI trucks and buses. The company has invested significantly in next-gen service solutions, such as remote and predictive diagnostics, and now delivers over 98% uptime in all major transport segments across India.

Eicher Trucks & Buses established India’s first Uptime Centre in 2020 to address customer needs and maximize fleet uptime. The need for this ecosystem grew due to the increasing demand for reliable commercial vehicles, tax reforms, BS VI emission standards, and modernization of logistics. This led to increased demand for efficient vehicle utilization and maintenance in long haul, construction, and mining sectors, making uptime the top priority for customers.
