Dynamic Services secures Rs 1,080 cr solar PV project in Maharashtra

Dynamic Services & Security Limited (DSSL) has bagged a landmark ₹1,080 crore solar PV manufacturing project from the Government of Maharashtra. The initiative will see the establishment of a 1,800 MW production capacity unit at MIDC Villebhagad, Raigad district, under the state’s Package Scheme of Incentives (PSI) 2019.

The project is set to bolster Maharashtra’s renewable energy ambitions while creating significant employment opportunities. “This project marks a monumental milestone for our company as we venture into large-scale solar panel manufacturing,” said Jugal Kishore Bhagat, Managing Director of DSSL.

Kolkata, where DSSL’s headquarters are based, also stands to benefit indirectly from this venture. Industry observers note that the city’s robust market for solar components and green energy solutions could provide auxiliary support to the project, further enhancing DSSL’s growth prospects. Dynamic Services has been diversifying into the solar energy sector in recent years, including projects in West Bengal and Manipur. With strategic acquisitions and partnerships, the company is positioning itself as a leading player in India’s green energy transition.
