In a continuation of their impactful collaboration, Durex’s The Birds and Bees Talk (TBBT) proudly assumes the role of the Official Health and Hygiene Partner at the 24th Hornbill Festival. Following a successful partnership during the 23rd edition, the health-focused initiative by Durex continues its commitment to community well-being.
The grand opening ceremony on December 1, 2023, witnessed the participation of distinguished dignitaries, including Nagaland’s Governor La Ganesan, Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, and Minister for Tourism & Higher Education, Temjen Imna Along. Noteworthy international figures like the US Ambassador to India, Eric Garcetti, British High Commissioner to India, Alex Ellis, Colombian Ambassador to India, Dr. Victor Echeverri Jaramillo, and German Consul General Kolkata, Barbara Voss, added prestige to the festival’s inauguration.Director of Tourism, Nagaland, Keduosieu Metha, emphasized the significance of the partnership, stating, “The collaboration with TBBT is anticipated to enrich the festival’s purpose and contribute to fostering a more unified and socially conscious community spirit this year.”

The festival also features the grand unveiling of Sushank Kumar’s sculpture on the ‘5 Ethos of Growing Up’ and the release of the Northeast Artists’ Rap Album, emphasizing key principles such as Inclusion, Protection, Consent, Equity, and Awareness.
