Damodar Ropeway and Infra Limited (DRIL), company in its statement, said that “we are the only company in India with a spotless and accident-free record in passenger safety for more than 45 years since inception.” The statement further said, “Being the largest player among Ropeway Industry, we have never met with any fatal accident during ropeway operation, whereas most of the other companies had witnessed fatal accidents and loss of precious lives of passengers, that too when they are nowhere close to numbers of ropeway we have installed and operated.”
