Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan inaugurated the Skill India Centre in Deogarh, aiming to empower the youth and prepare them for the new India. The government is committed to skilling, re-skilling, and up-skilling the youth of India, in the workforce to make them competent and self-reliant. The center will offer specialized courses to graduates seeking to acquire in-demand and futuristic skills for a successful career in global markets.
Skill India Centres are being established to meet the evolving needs of various industries, including Media, Leather, Tourism & Hospitality, and IT-ITeS, by providing practical knowledge. Built over 3237 sq, ft area, the centre is equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure, well-equipped classrooms, advanced laboratories, and specialized spaces ensures that caters to the diverse needs of modern education and skill development.
The centre will impart training to the students by seamlessly integrating academic knowledge with practical, hands-on experience across ten courses including Story Board Artist, Graphic Designer, Stitchers – Goods and Garments, Cutter – Goods and Garments, Helper, Barista Executive, F&B Service Associate and IT Help desk Assistant.
