Daikin Air-conditioning India Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of Daikin Industries Ltd., Japan, has announced the commercialization of its integrated air-conditioning and compressor manufacturing facility in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh. The facility, spread across 75.5 acres, is a strategic move that demonstrates Daikin’s commitment to technology, sustainable practices, and regional growth. The plant is strategically positioned to cater to the increasing demand for state-of-the-art air conditioning products manufactured in India, both domestically and internationally.
The new plant will enhance Daikin’s production capabilities and strengthen its position as a leading provider of energy-efficient and sustainable HVAC solutions in the region. The expansion marks a pivotal moment in Daikin’s journey, fostering long-term partnerships that drive mutual success. In addition, Daikin holds the distinction of being the primary investor in the government’s Production Linked Incentive scheme, actively championing the drive for domestic manufacturing of air conditioners.
