Cows are kept in an abandoned house in Domjur Rural Hospital, the picture was caught on camera

It is learned that there are several abandoned houses in front of the seminar hall behind the main hospital building. Cows are tied in one of those rooms and bags of cow food are stored in the other room.It is known that the local youth Sheikh Saheb runs the Khatal business with four or five cows. Local residents said that there is a cowshed outside the hospital but a door has been made of tin in the front wall. The key and lock of that door are not with anyone in the hospital, but with Khatal Malik Sheikh Sahib. It is alleged that he opened the door in the morning to graze the cow and let the cow enter the hospital premises.

Cows roam the field all day. Apart from keeping cows in abandoned houses, their food is also stored. Sheikh Sahib admitted that he earns his living by doing khatal. Even though the tin door is made for garbage, it still has the lock and key. He opened the door and kept the cow in the hospital premises.Block Medical Officer Health of Domgad said that he saw a bed outside the hospital after taking charge in July this year. He informed the authorities about that but he does not know whether the cow rides in the hospital.

However, he has already written to BDO, District Magistrate and Police regarding the security of the hospital. He also claimed that the security of the hospital has been increased. Besides the police, CCTV cameras have been installed at several important places in the hospital.
