Congress leader takes jibe on PM Modi for not visiting Assam and Manipur

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi visits Assam today amid flood havoc in the state. However, a team of Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) led by President Bhupen Borah has submitted a memorandum to the Congress leader, urging him to raise the issue of floods in Assam in the Parliament.

As every year, Assam during the monsoon season faces heavy flood destruction within the state with number of death toll, citizens are left homeless, animals suffering etc.

Also, Rahul Gandhi after his visit to Assam will fly to Manipur violence-hit state to take stock of the current situation.

Congress leader Jairam Ramesh taking a jibe on PM Modi posted, “Today, the non-biological PM goes to Moscow while the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha heads for Assam and Manipur. Of course, the drumbeaters of the non-biological PM have claimed that he stopped the Russia-Ukraine war for some time. Presumably, this Moscow trip will lead to even more bizarre claims.”
