Her hanging body was recovered from his house on Sunday. Jaigaon police officer said that they have already sent the body for post-mortem. The cause of death cannot be confirmed until the post-mortem report is out. However, in the preliminary investigation, the police also think that the student committed suicide by hanging her neck due to humiliation.

The girl’s father claimed that his daughter went to a shopping mall on September 29. At that time the girl was accompanied by her sister. But, they were stopped while leaving the shopping mall. The authorities claimed that the college student had stolen chocolates from the shopping mall. After being caught red-handed, she even confessed to the theft. He immediately settled the price of the chocolate and apologized for his actions. The matter settles there.

But, it is alleged that some people present at the scene made a video of the incident and uploaded it on social media. Later this video went viral. The girl’s father complained that she was suffering from depression after reading the video in his daughter’s eyes. The college student was completely upset due to the incident. The person alleged that his daughter was forced to commit suicide due to this.

Meanwhile, after the body of the young woman was recovered on Sunday, the neighbors of the deceased protested outside the concerned shopping mall. The local residents have demanded strict punishment of those who made the video of the incident and uploaded it on social media. However, the shopping mall authorities did not want to comment after the incident.
