Coke Studio Bharat unveils Season 4 line-up, expands focus on regional soundscapes

Coca-Cola India on Tuesday announced the artist line-up for Season 4 of Coke Studio Bharat, marking the return of the music platform that has gained prominence for blending regional traditions with contemporary sounds. The new season opens with ‘The List,’ featuring a diverse mix of artists including Rekha Bhardwaj, Aditya Rikhari, Kutle Khan, Faheem Abdullah, Arsalan Nizami, Madhur Sharma, Mohammad Faiz and Mame Khan, among others.

After three seasons that reshaped India’s streaming music landscape, the platform aims to deepen its engagement with local musical traditions. Season 3 tracks such as Arz Kiya Hai and Holi Aayi Re had topped charts, setting high expectations for the upcoming edition.

According to the organisers, Season 4 will explore themes of devotion, memory, longing and storytelling, drawing from Rajasthani folk, Kashmiri narratives, Banaras-rooted traditions and Sufi influences. Rekha Bhardwaj said the platform allows “rediscovery of roots through collaboration,” while Aditya Rikhari highlighted its ability to retain emotional depth while expanding musical scale.

Shantanu Gangane of Coca-Cola India said the initiative continues to amplify regional languages and untold stories at scale, while Universal Music Group’s Devraj Sanyal emphasised the role of authentic storytelling in shaping India’s global music identity.

Kolkata, with its strong legacy in classical, folk and contemporary fusion music, is expected to be a key consumption hub for Season 4. The city’s growing digital audience and appetite for culturally rooted content align with Coke Studio Bharat’s positioning, potentially driving strong streaming traction in the eastern market.
