Cleartrip enters holiday packages segment with flexible, expert-curated itineraries

Cleartrip, a Flipkart company and one of India’s leading online travel platforms, has entered the holiday packages segment with a flexibility-first offering that combines flights, hotels, activities and transfers into a single expert-curated itinerary.

The company said travellers can customise the packages by changing hotels, adjusting activities and modifying flights while retaining the structure of a planned holiday. The packages currently cover popular destinations across India and international markets, with the selection expected to expand.

The launch offerings include a “Child Flies Free” promotion for Thailand, Bali and Kerala, and a “Partner @ 50%” offer for Thailand, Bali and Andaman, subject to applicable terms and conditions.

Gaurav Patwari, Chief Business Officer – Air, Cleartrip, said the new model seeks to bridge the gap between rigid holiday packages and independently planned trips by combining expert planning with traveller control.

Cleartrip said travellers can also consult destination experts during the planning process and access live itineraries containing driver details, vouchers and day plans, along with 24×7 support during their journey. The company said its scale and Flipkart Group backing have helped it negotiate pricing and inventory across flights, hotels and experiences. It has also introduced a Price Beat Offer, under which eligible travellers can receive a lower price if they find the same itinerary cheaper elsewhere.
