Citroën India has announced that its all-new Basalt, India’s first mainstream ICE SUV Coupé, has earned an impressive 4-star rating in the Bharat New Car Assessment Program (Bharat NCAP) safety tests. With a score of 26.19/32 in Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) and 35.90/49 in Child Occupant Protection (COP), the Basalt stands out for its robust safety performance, equipped with six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and ISOFIX anchors.
This accolade highlights Citroën’s commitment to prioritizing passenger safety, with over 40 active and passive safety features as standard across all variants.
