Child prodigies make Kolkata proud

Kolkata’s prodigious talents, Ankita Pradhan, Pratiti Das, Prity Bhattacharjee, Sayantani Kanjilal, ShrijaKayal, and Soumya Dhal, won the Born To Shine scholarship event, an initiative by Zeel Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited).They were awarded a scholarship worth Rs. 4 lakh and a place in the esteemed mentorship programme.

Ankita Pradhan’s journey in singing is a testament to her grit and perseverance. Pratiti Das, a Bharatnatyam dancer, had a hard time getting a dance teacher in Mumbai, but her 7-year journey with the Indian classical dance form has seen her grow exponentially. Prity Bhattacharjee, a singing prodigy, is a fan of singing reality shows and wishes to be a playback singer. Kanjilal has had a promising singing career with many scholarships and awards to her name, and Shrija Kayal is one of the youngest winners of the Born To Shine scholarship.

The journey of prodigies has been an inspiration for many in their societies to pursue their talents, and it is a blessing when their inner passion is recognized and directed by parents and instructors.
