Child Help Foundation(CHF) along with its crowdfunding partner Filaantro organized a cultural and educational event on the occasion of World Disability Day on 3rd December 2022 in Athiaboi, Changsari, Assam. Child Help Foundation collaborated with Assam-based NGO Barnil Pratyasha Foundation to exhibit this event and inspire people to come together and bring positive change in the lives of specially-abled children and society at large.
On this occasion, the NGO organized different interactive activities such as singing, dancing, and painting, to provide the specially-abled children with a platform to showcase their talents and to spread the message in society that these children are just as capable of carrying out all the tasks that others carry out in their daily lives. In the program held, children painted beautiful drawings, danced to their favorite songs and participated in solo and group singing.
Along with cultural events, the volunteers also taught these kids about tree plantations, its significance and about the ecosystem in large. Speaking on World Disability Day Mr. Shaji Varghese, Chief Executive Officer, Child Help Foundation said, “Their enthusiasm has motivated us to carry out more such activities in the future so that they get equal opportunities while they grow.”
