Cairn Oil & Gas, India’s largest private oil and gas exploration and production company, and a unit of Vedanta Group, is showcasing its vision, mission, and range of technologies at India Energy Week (IEW) 2023. Reflecting its commitment to sustainability and energy security, the Cairn’s stall at the event highlights the company’s integration of ESG in business strategies under the theme of ‘Transforming Energy Responsibly’.
The IEW will address issues of long-term energy transition and progression towards de carbonization. Cairn aims to contribute 50% of its output to India’s domestic crude oil and gas production. Cairn Energy has announced plans to increase production from existing blocks through application of latest technology and global partnerships. Cairn Oil & Gas is the first in India to adopt the Petro-technical cloud project and implement its own cloud platform for upstream interpretation and simulation.
The company’s participation at India Energy Week 2023 provides a global platform to showcase its efforts towards securing India’s energy future while ensuring commitment to sustainable and responsible operations. A key highlight of the stall will be the company’s focus on achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2050.
