Bolt.Earth, India’s largest EV charging network, has launched Blaze DC, the nation’s first universal DC fast charger for electric two- and three-wheelers. Engineered to meet the pressing need for high-speed, brand-agnostic charging, Blaze DC delivers up to 120 km of range in just 15 minutes via its 12kW variant. Designed and manufactured in India, the Blaze DC supports Type 6 and LECCS Type 7 connectors, making it compatible with EVs from Ather, Ola, Hero MotoCorp, and more. Its modular design allows easy servicing, while remote diagnostics ensure minimal downtime.
The company aims to deploy 25,000 units within a year, empowering gig workers, delivery agents, and small businesses with accessible and fast charging. CEO RaghavBharadwaj emphasized, “Blaze DC is built for the everyday commuter. It’s not just a product—it’s a mission to democratize EV access.”
In Kolkata, where two-wheeler EV adoption is gaining pace, the launch is expected to boost market confidence. Local riders and delivery personnel have welcomed the move, citing faster turnaround and convenience. Bolt.Earth plans strategic deployments across the city to meet growing demand and improve urban mobility. The solution integrates with the Bolt.Earth Charging App, which connects over 37,000 chargers nationwide.
