Balkrishna Industries Limited (BKT), the Indian Multinational Group and global player in the Off-Highway tire market, has announced its partnership with NorthEast United FC, for the upcoming edition of the Indian Professional Football League Season 8. BKT is the Official Tire Partner for the team, for the second consecutive season.
BKT is famous for its associations with the biggest football leagues in the world. It is Title Sponsor of the Serie BKT, the B football league in Italy and of the Ligue 2 BKT, the second French football division. The company is also the Official Global Partner of LaLiga, the top tier Spanish football championship.
Through the renewal of the partnership with NorthEast United FC, BKT wants to strengthen its support to Indian sports, in its home-country. The company has been associated with some of the most known sports championships in India. BKT was the Official Tire Partner for seven teams for T-20 Season 2021, namely Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Rajasthan Royals, Punjab Kings, Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders. It was also the Associate Partner for the Tamil Nadu Premier League for Seasons 2021 and 2019.
