BJP Launches A Campaign To Gather Public Ideas For Its Assam Election Agenda

Today, the ruling BJP formally started soliciting thoughts and input from the public in order to create the party’s “Sakalp Patra” (Vision Document/manifesto) for the impending Assam Assembly elections. Dilip Saikia, the head of the state BJP, stated that the manifesto committee would carefully consider every recommendation made by the public before adding it to the platform. According to him, the party is working to make sure that the Sakalp Patra represents the goals and expectations of the state’s citizens.

According to Saikia, there are four ways for the public to submit recommendations for the Assembly elections in 2026. “Any individual may make a missed call to 7002126126, and the same mobile number will then receive a message with a link. The respondent can input their name, mobile number, district, and Assembly constituency in the structured format that appears after clicking the link. They can then submit their recommendations in the appropriate column. The contributor’s mobile phone will receive a confirmation that the proposal was received. Additionally, the state BJP president stated that proposals could be sent via email at bjpassamsankalp2026@gmail.com, through the official website www.bjpassamsankalp2026.com, or by scanning a QR code.

He added that “Suggestion Boxes” will be positioned throughout the state so that people can also leave written recommendations. In order to ensure that the BJP’s electoral manifesto for the 2017 Assembly elections completely reflects the desire and aspirations of the people of Assam, the Drafting Committee will carefully analyze and incorporate all of the information that has been gathered. Attendees included the Convenor of the 2026 Assam Assembly Election Management Committee and Member of Parliament Pradan Baruah; Committee Member and Cabinet Minister Ranjeet Kumar Dass; and the Drafting Committee for the Assam Assembly Elections 2026 and Cabinet Minister Dr. Ranoj Pegu.
