This Durga Puja, ITC’s Bingo! Tedhe Medhe amped up Assam’s festive spirit with Rockanjali—a one-of-a-kind, high-voltage “music-on-wheels” celebration that transformed Guwahati’s bustling streets into open-air concert arenas. The event brought together Assam’s youth, music, and Pujo fervour in a thrilling showcase of local talent and energy.
Headlined by two of Assam’s most iconic rock bands, Barnali Collective and Blue Wings, Rockanjali delivered electrifying performances at Latasil Park on Sasthi and near Nehru Park on Saptami. Their soulful rock anthems and powerful riffs resonated with thousands, celebrating the state’s vibrant musical culture and youthful enthusiasm. In Guwahati, the initiative injected festive excitement into the city’s streets, drawing huge crowds and boosting local vendors’ sales of food, beverages, and festive merchandise. The city’s lively markets mirrored the celebration, blending commerce and culture in true Assamese style.
