BIBA has unveiled its summer festive edit to mark Rongali Bihu, aligning its latest collection with the spirit of Assam’s new year celebrations. The launch comes as Bohag sets in, bringing with it traditional festivities, community gatherings, and cultural vibrancy across the state. The collection features a wide range of kurta sets crafted in lightweight cotton and mul fabrics suited for the summer season. Printed suit sets in earthy tones and bold florals are paired with sharara sets and A-line silhouettes, designed for both daytime rituals and evening celebrations. The edit also includes separates such as kurtis, tops, and bottoms, along with BIBA’s signature Anarkali sets, catering to women across age groups. The BIBA Girls range extends offerings to children aged 2 to 15 years.
In addition, the brand has introduced a curated gifting collection comprising kurta sets, dupattas, jewellery, fragrances, and ready-to-stitch suit sets, positioned as festive gifting options during Bihu.
Guwahati continues to be a key market for BIBA in the Northeast, supported by strong retail presence and steady festive demand. With established stores in the city and nearby urban centres like Dibrugarh and Jorhat, the brand is witnessing consistent consumer engagement during peak cultural seasons such as Rongali Bihu. Retailers indicate that festive edits and gifting ranges see heightened traction during this period, driven by family purchases and traditional celebrations.
