Popular Bengali television serial actress, Pallavi Dey, was found lifeless under mysterious circumstances on Sunday at her rented residence in South Kolkata where she lived with her friend Shagnik Chakraborty. Her placed body was once first discovered through Chakraborty, who is known to the police.
He told the police that he went out on Sunday morning to buy some cigarettes. Upon returning, he found her stroking body. Police have sent the body to post-mortem.
“Initially, it appears to be a case of suicide. However, a final decision can be made only after the post-mortem documents are in hand. We have started the investigation after a case of unnatural death was submitted,” said an investigating officer.
It is known that the deceased actress was living in a rented lodging in South Kolkata from April 24 this year. Her friend Shagnik Chakraborty lived with her in the same house when you think it was the beginning.
Her friends and colleagues at Bangla Television Enterprise expressed complete shock at this development while none would want to find any reason behind this drastic move.
