The Dragon Run, organised by the 3rd IRBn at Temi, saw enthusiastic participation from more than 1,000 runners from different parts of the region. The event brought together athletes, young runners and fitness lovers for a day of healthy competition in the scenic surroundings of Temi. Area MLA Bedu Singh Panth and Director General of Police Akshay Sachdeva Anand were present at the event along with other senior officials and dignitaries. They encouraged the participants and appreciated their sporting spirit.
In the 10K Open Female category, Km Anjali (Bib No. 1307) secured the first position with a timing of 42:26. Chandra Kala Sharma (Bib No. 1339) finished second at 43:41. Meena Kumari Subba (Bib No. 1273) came third, clocking 44:05. In the 10K Open Male category, Ramge Hang Subba (Bib No. 1315) won the race with a timing of 34:36. Vibek Chettri (Bib No. 1252) secured second place at 35:14. Amar Deep (Bib No. 1265) finished third with a time of 35:51.
In the 5K Open Male category, Prince Raj Mishra (Bib No. 5220) clinched first place with a timing of 16:02. Manoj Biswakarma (Bib No. 5165) finished second at 17:20, while Roshan Munda (Bib No. 5007) secured third place with 18:05.In the 5K Open Female category, Priya Tamang (Bib No. 5262) emerged winner with a timing of 20:50. Apsana Chettri (Bib No. 5162) finished second at 21:32. Priya Chettri (Bib No. 5259) secured third place with a time of 22:02.
