Rehabari Bilpar is set to celebrate Durga Puja with an eco-friendly pandal, crafted entirely from bamboo, organized by the Rehabari Bilpar Durga Puja Committee. Former Governor of Assam, Shri Gulab Chand Kataria, and his family will inaugurate the pandal. Bamboo is chosen to emphasize its historical and cultural importance in the region. The Maa Durga idol, a Dhakeshwari Durga Idol, will be adorned with Shola craft fabric, adding a unique artistic touch to the festivities. The pandal’s budget has been set at Rs 25 lakh.
