The Naga People’s Front (NPF) 19th Assembly Constituency reaffirmed its commitment to unity and organisational strengthening during its oath-taking ceremony held on July 27. Addressing party leaders and workers, Advisor for Science and Technology, Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu, urged members to work with sincerity and dedication under the leadership of Chief Minister and NPF President Dr. Neiphiu Rio.
Expressing confidence in Dr. Rio’s leadership, Azo said the party would continue to grow stronger while remaining committed to the welfare and development of the people. He called on party functionaries to remain united and actively contribute to strengthening the organisation at every level.
Senior party leader Vesheta Khesoh highlighted the importance of unity and collective responsibility for the party’s continued progress. Farmers’ Wing President Zachinyi Khesoh welcomed the coming together of party members, reaffirmed his support for Azo Nienu, and encouraged workers to remain united for the success of the organisation.
Secretary of the Central Organising Board, Velapra Shijoh, also appealed to members to work in close coordination to reinforce the party’s presence at both the constituency and state levels.
The oath of office was administered by NPF Phek Division Working President Api Vadeo, while dedicatory prayers were offered by Rev. Dr. Vezopa Tetseo. The programme also featured welcome addresses, special cultural performances, and prayers.
The ceremony concluded with party leaders and members renewing their pledge to uphold unity, strengthen the organisation, and serve the people with dedication and commitment.
