Ayushmann Khurrana’s film An Action Hero saw a slight increase in its numbers at the box office over the weekend. However, despite the steady pace, the film underperformed at the ticket window. The film is facing a clash with Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam 2 and Varun Dhawan’s Bhediya.
‘An action hero’ starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Jaideep Ahlawat, which was released on December 2, slowly picked up its momentum over the weekend. On the third day, the film registered a 60 percent increase at the box office, but the numbers remained low.
As per trade reports, the film collected Rs 2.40 crore on its third day, adding Rs 5.87 crore. The film earned major revenue from Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida and Chandigarh.
Ayushmann Khurrana and Jaideep Ahlawat-starrer An Action Hero is an action-thriller film high on satirical humor. Directed by Anirudh Iyer and produced by Anand L Rai, the film revolves around superstar Manav, who meets with an accident while filming in Haryana.
